In the General Prologue to The Canterbury Tales Geoffrey Chaucer (1340-1400) presents us with a wonderful selection of fourteenth century characters. 

Our work pack contains a generous selection (15 characters) and provides the fourteenth century text alongside a modern translation.  Copious notes and comments help to make this fourteenth century text accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of pupils.
