Our Day Out

Classroom support materials for the play.

Our Day Out, by Willy Russell, was originally written as a play for television and televised on BBC 2 in 1977.  This lively play, immensely popular with children, tells the story of a school trip from an inner city school.  Willy Russell gives us a series of brief but vivid sketches of the children and some of their teachers.  The play provides many opportunities for classroom improvisation.

Our resource pack provides a rich variety of written, oral and practical work for students.

Illustrated in black and white.

This material may be photocopied within the purchasing establishment.
